T&D GLOBAL:  OUR SERVICE TEAM

Terry Waldrop, Vice-President, Refurbishment
Terry has 27 years of experience in the Graphic Arts field focusing on field service and technical support management. Experience includes printing press and die cutting machines ranging from 18” to 77” manufactured by Heidelberg, Komori, Mitsubishi, BOBST, Harris, and many others. Terry has been factory trained by both Komori and BOBST. Technical management experience began in the 1980’s with the Komori dealership in the southeast.

Responsibilities ultimately included all field service activities, installations, technical mechanical and electrical support for customers and service staff, and technical sales support in the 7 state southeast region.

The last 9 years have been dedicated to developing a world-class refurbishment processing system for sheet fed printing presses producing consistent quality results while meeting the rigorous ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.

Ernie Boling, Technical Support Specialist
Ernie gained his reputation as a dedicated and hard working individual by learning the ropes in the printing press “rigging” field. He earned his position as service technician by applying the same intensity to servicing and refurbishing offset printing presses as he did guarding the integrity of each press during the rigging procedure.

He is a qualified service technician having experience on all makes and models of sheet-fed offset presses, plus some flexo-graphic machines.

Ernie has been the lead service technician on customer plant moves across America and also serves as T&D Global’s commander-in-charge for the installation and dismantling of each refurbished press on our demonstration floor.

Tim Comini, Technical Support Specialist
Tim is a senior technician with 15 years of sheet-fed offset experience, four of which were in Heidelberg training center. Prior to entering the printing industry he was employed as an auto and diesel tech after graduating from High School.

Some of his hobbies include the outdoors hunting and fishing with his grand-children also working with street cars. He resides in Canton, Michigan with his wife and many pets.

Pat Crossman, Technical Support Specialist
Pat has served the industry as a Senior Offset Press Technician with over 15 years of field experience. As a graduate of Heidelberg's Four Year Apprenticeship Program, Pat has successfully and professionally installed and repaired equipment from Single Color 18" to 10 Color 40" Perfectors.

Pat resides in Taylor, Michigan and services customers in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

Gary Gardner, Technical Support Specialist
Gary brings to T&D Global a wealth of experience relating to heavy industrial equipment and a through knowledge of electrical system requirements, having over 30 years of combined experience. Gary’s contribution to the refurbishment of offset sheet-fed printing presses is a special skill given to only a very few….that being, spatial recognition.

He is the lead floor technician in the Preparation Department because he understands the inner working of “all” the parts, including hydraulic, electrical, and air actuation. He understands the principal, “each printing unit demonstrates true perfection when each step of the quality process is perfected”.

Gary's reliance on perfection provides leadership to each technician under his supervision and motivates each to do their very best. Incidentally, Gary’s two sons, Felix and Scott are employed by T&D Machine Handling which embellishes the statement, “T&D’s family of companies”.

Sam Kemp, Technical Support Specialist
Sam began in the Graphic Arts industry in 1984 while working a part-time summer job assisting a friend & service technician. Shortly thereafter, it had turned into a full time career. By 1989, he was blessed with an opportunity to work for an independent service provider that serviced a variety of press manufacturers.

This proved to be crucial in the knowledge and overall understanding of printing mechanics that Sam has established today. In 2000, Sam joined T&D Machine Handling with the primary focus on the refurbishment of Heidelberg printing equipment.

Sam resides in Gainesville, GA with his wife Christi. Together, they have been blessed with 4 wonderful children. Today, Sam’s focus at T&D Global Group is the refurbishment of press equipment, in addition, to meeting the field service needs for his valued customers.
